Monkey Roulette
🎯 MonkeyRoulette - The Very Serious Juniper Dev Game Jam entry
A very serious game. No laughing. The fruits demand professionalism.

How to Play
- Roll the roulette wheel using LEFT or RIGHT key.
- Match the color of the falling fruit with the same-colored circle on the wheel.
- When the fruit touches the matching color, press ❎ (X).
- Every correct match increases your Progress.
- Every level has a target Progress to reach.
- Beat all 5 levels to win!
Be Careful!
- Don't let fruits fall off the screen.
- Don't press ❎ (X) on the wrong color.
- Both mistakes reduce your Progress.
- If your Progress reaches less than 0, it's Game Over.
The Challenge
Each level makes the fruits fall faster, so stay focused. This is a Very Serious Game, after all. Smiling is optional. Missing fruits is not.

Note
This is originally built in my own fantasy console Nano8, but I'm having trouble exporting cartridge to html, so i remake this in Pico8.

Very cool, nice art but i couldn't figure out what exactly the goal was.
Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback.
The goal is to match the color of the falling fruit with the same-colored section of the roulette wheel. When the fruit touches the matching color, press X to score. Correct matches increase your progress, while mistakes or missed fruits decrease it.
I'll work on making the objective clearer in the game. Thanks for pointing it out!
Simple game but clever, good job.
Thanks for playing! I really appreciate it, and I'm glad you enjoyed the game.
I'm planning to release an updated version after the The Very Serious Juniper Dev Game Jam voting ends, with some improvements based on the feedback I've received. I hope you'll give it another try when it's out!
I think it's simple and fun.
Feedback:
Thanks for playing, and thanks for the detailed feedback!
That's a good point about the watermelon. I was thinking of the rind, but I can see why most people expect it to be red. I'll probably change that.
I also agree about orange and yellow. They can be difficult to tell apart when things speed up, so I'll look into making the colors easier to distinguish.
I really appreciate the feedback!
